Scope before speed

Preparation

Preparation helps the auditor select sources and questions before the audit day becomes busy.

Step by step

Open Step 1 in Audit Detail

Choose Prepare Sources and Questions for a new scope, or Continue preparation when questions are already selected.

Choose the relevant source material

Use the available regulation and question areas to prepare the audit scope.

Select the questions for this audit

The audit detail screen shows the selected question count so the user knows whether the scope is empty, light, or ready.

Review question work when needed

Use Revise Questions for pending suggestions, controlled revisions, approved questions, and rejected suggestions.

Switch modes later without losing work

Audit mode help states that switching modes does not remove answers, findings, evidence, or source/question links already captured.

What makes it useful

  • Preparation is visible and countable.
  • Reusable approved questions can support consistent audits.
  • Scope and conduct are connected instead of being separate documents.

What this helps prevent

Last-minute checklist chaos, forgotten source questions, and audit notes that cannot be traced back to the planned scope.
