Your device. Your login. Your information.

Your audits stay on your device.

A1 Audit does not centrally store or access your audit content. Your audit information remains associated with the A1 Audit identity and local storage used on your device.

Before changing login or device

Five checks that protect continuity

Complete these before uninstalling the app, clearing storage, changing identity or replacing the device.

Confirm the exact A1 Audit email and local identity currently in use.

Verify continued access to the Google, Samsung or Proton passkey account.

Export important audits as encrypted .a1gxpx packages.

Keep transfer passwords separately from the exported files.

Where is my audit information stored?Local app storage, encrypted packages and generated files

Standard audit content is stored locally on the device under the A1 Audit identity used to create or import it. Encrypted .a1gxpx packages and generated DOCX files are stored where the user chooses to save or share them.

A1 Audit does not centrally hold the questionnaires, answers, notes, findings, evidence, document references or generated reports.

Why can an audit appear to be missing?A different identity may show a different local audit view

A common cause is a login mismatch. The information may still be on the device but not visible under the identity currently in use.

  • Check the exact spelling of the email.
  • Check which passkey-provider account was used.
  • Confirm the same local A1 Audit profile.
  • Do not create another identity simply because audits are not immediately visible.

A1 Audit cannot centrally inspect, switch or combine local identities.

What can A1 Audit access?Local audit content is different from account and purchase functions

A1 Audit does not have routine central access to locally stored audit records and therefore cannot retrieve, reconstruct or restore them for you.

Limited account, authentication, purchase, support, website or security information may be processed where required for those separate functions.

What can make local information unavailable?Understand the risks before reset, removal or device replacement
  • Using a different login, email, passkey identity or local profile.
  • Losing access to the passkey-provider account.
  • Deleting app data or uninstalling the app.
  • Resetting, losing, replacing or damaging the device.
  • Operating-system, storage or third-party software failure.
  • Replacing the device without retaining suitable exports and reports.
Read the Delete Account guidance
What is the user responsible for?Identity, device access, authentication, backups and retention
  • Reusing the correct A1 Audit identity.
  • Protecting the device and passkey-provider access.
  • Checking the account before creating or importing an audit.
  • Exporting important audits after meaningful changes.
  • Keeping transfer passwords separate from audit packages.
  • Retaining reports and backups according to organisational requirements.
What does “mobile audit companion” mean? The app supports the workflow but does not make the professional decision

A1 Audit supports preparation, selected-question workflows, evidence capture, reporting, secure transfer and trend review. It does not determine compliance, provide legal or regulatory advice, replace required regulated roles or remove the auditor's professional responsibility.

The end user remains responsible for current and applicable requirements, scope, objective-evidence assessment, findings, conclusions, report review and required follow-up.

Responsibility for local data and legal limitationsPlain-language explanation of circumstances outside A1 Audit's control

A1 Audit does not centrally possess or control audit content stored locally on the user's device and cannot restore local audit content that becomes unavailable because of circumstances outside its control.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, A1 Audit is not responsible for loss or unavailability resulting from device loss, damage, replacement or reset; app removal or local-storage deletion; use of a different login or passkey identity; loss of passkey-provider access; device, operating-system, storage or third-party software failure; or failure to create and securely retain suitable exports and backups.
